The links below provide detailed descriptions of the training program implemented during the PAFIX project. The training program was designed to be implemented as the warm-up prior to training. As you will see the exercise components within the program focused on improving players balance and technique in side-stepping and jumping/landing movement patterns. Training approaches used in the PAFIX program include plyometric training, balance exercises using both stable and unstable surfaces, and change of direction tasks. All exercises were periodised within program to ensure a safe progressive overload in training.
